Fuel Consumption Converter

It is a legal requirement that all new vehicles registered in the Republic of Ireland since January 2005 have speed and distance displayed in metric units. However when it comes to fuel consumption it also means that the vehicle display will be in metric i.e. Litres per 100 Km’s (Ltrs/100Km) rather than miles per gallon (MPG) which can be confusing. Therefore for convenience please find below a conversion tool which can be used to convert metric to imperial values or imperial to metric values for calculation of fuel consumption.
